The Lakeland Christian School's Mock Trial Team recently competed in the Florida High School Mock Trial State Competition that took place virtually beginning Wednesday, April 21, 2021 through Saturday, April 24, 2021. This year's statewide competition consisted of high school teams from fourteen districts in Florida. Lakeland Christian School was officially announced as the winner and state champion on Monday, April 26, 2021. Mentored by their Coach, Chasity Branham, Esquire and Assistant Coach, Tenth Judicial Circuit Judge Melissa Gravitt, this rookie team began their journey by winning the Circuit 10 Florida High School Mock Trial Competition earlier this year. With this latest victory, they now advance to represent the state of Florida at the National Mock Trial Competition taking place in Evansville, Indiana beginning May 12, 2021 through May 15, 2021.
