Lakeland Christian School Mock Trial Team Wins State Championship, Advances to Nationals

The Lakeland Christian School Mock Trial Team advanced from regional competition on March 6, 2026, to represent the Tenth Judicial Circuit at the Florida High School Mock Trial State Finals, held March 26–28 at the Orange County Courthouse in Orlando, where the team prevailed in every round of competition, capturing the State Championship.

Individual honors were also awarded to Zachary Branham, who received a Best Attorney Award, and Griffin Byrd, who received a Best Witness Award. The team will next represent Florida at the National High School Mock Trial Championship in Des Moines, Iowa, May 7–9.

The Tenth Judicial Circuit commends this team for its impressive accomplishments and extends best wishes as this amazing group of students represents our great state of Florida at the National High School Mock Trial Championship.
