Polk County Judge Mary Catherine Green was recently selected by the Polk Association for Women Lawyers (PAWL) as the recipient of their 2022 Jurist of the Year award. Chief Judge Ellen S. Masters presented Judge Green with her award at PAWL’s Women’s History Luncheon on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the Polk History Center in Bartow Florida. In her introduction, Chief Judge Masters described Judge Green as, “having served honorably on Polk County’s bench since her election in 1998….” and characterized her as a jurist who “exemplifies the highest standards of judicial conduct because she loves serving and considers it both a duty and a privilege.” Please join us in congratulating Polk County Judge Mary Catherine Green on her well-deserved honor.
